The sustainable health and wellbeing of a person is very much dependent on the ongoing maintenance and management.
Different stages of life facing different challenges, thus the maintenance and management focus and efforts would be changing to meet the evolving needs of the body.
From baby to become independent, to be taught and to learn to form good habits would provide lifelong benefits; to have good appetite and have balance diet would facilitate normal growth and development of the body. During this period, parents’ / guardian’s careful observations and timely help / intervention would make the real difference. Our approaches, which are based on TCM, offer valuable and natural and holistic options.
From become independent to maturely developed in a person’s mid-30’s, this is a stage full of growth, energy, optimism, and confidence. It is widely referred to be the ‘invincible’, ‘infallible’ stage in popular culture. As TCM practitioners, our observation and understanding show that this could be a ‘great dividing’ time.
Those who care about the long term, they try to do the right things, they are in much better position to enjoy health and wellbeing now as well as in later stages of life.
People who get on the ‘invincible’ ‘infallible’ wagon, they are happy enjoying life the way they like in this stage of good time, may be by choice or may be by ignorance. The obvious consequences could only be seen in later stages of life. At best, the chance to enjoy health and wellbeing might be undermined; at worst, various degrees of sufferings could become reality.
In this stage, girls are to have their first period. The physiological monthly period may come with associate issues that require careful management, sharing of experience from experienced seniors and seeking proper advice could be helpful. Some issues are emerging and evolving and might become a dominant concern, such as: make better efforts to have healthy baby, libido concerns, eggs quality and counts, regulating the period and other period related issues, help to get pregnant and Pregnancy help, etc.

Apart from these, there are also the more commonly signs and symptoms: back pain, neck pain, headache, poor sleep, tinnitus ringing in the ears, anxiety, stress, poor appetite, low energy, blood pressure concerns, overweight, IBS irritable bowel syndrome, tennis elbow, knee pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica, dizziness, nausea, frequent wake up from sleep to pass urine, deteriorate eye sights, heaviness of body, swelling, constipation, diarrhea, the list goes on. And some signs and symptoms on the list might somehow become familiar personal experiences.

From retirement age and beyond. This is a period of enjoying the fruit harvested, be it good or poor. It is also a period of declining and deteriorating in health and wellbeing. Good habits in the past might become unsuitable or even become a cause of new problems. It is a time that timely changes be introduced to suit new circumstances, adapting to new conditions are becoming the norms. And seeking good advice and careful management would be very helpful and worthwhile. Management and treatment are usually more focused on improving quality of life.
